Standards for the Use of Grinders.
The Rules are the following:

6. The calculated design speed of the grinding wheel can not be changed.
7. All emery should have a frontal protector.
8. Rest or piece holder should be at a level higher than the center of the stone and with a length of 3mm of the stone.
9. The grinding work will be carried out by people who know the equipment and safe work procedures.
10. Emery operators will have adequate protection for eyesight and respiratory protection in cases of dust generation.
11. The grinders whose stone is loose or out of balance can not be operated.
12. The front of the stone will always be used unless the design has been made to grind on the sides.
13. As the stone wears away, you should adjust the piece holder or rest, respecting the measurement 3 mm. of length.
14. In the areas that have grinders of different RPM a color code will be used where the stone and the emery can be easily identified and thus prevent the possibility of mistake.
15. Information about the color code to be used should be placed in a visible place.
